On My Bookshelf.

I love cosy winter days rugged up... reading. I love sunny days on the beach... reading. I love to lie in bed at the end of the day... reading.
I have been a 'reader' for as long as I can remember and have lost whole days to amazing books.
My favourite author is the hilarious, witty, creative genius, Gemma Burgess. If you're a 20-something female you can not go wrong with one of Gemma's books!
I adore Harry Potter, The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants and have read the book California Diaries: Maggie about 3 zillion times in my life.
My favourite genre is New Adult fiction but I also tend to linger in the Young Adult section of the book store and I won't say no to the odd Outback Aussie Romance novel.
Now, you're up to date with my reading history, let's take a look at what I've been reading lately.
Of the above, I highly recommend "The Opposite of Loneliness" by Marina Keegan. A collection of essays written by a talented young woman whose life was taken far too early when she passed in a car accident.
"Not That Kind of Girl" by Lena Dunham is refreshing for honesty but I felt it grew repetitious as I read through it.
And of course, Harry Potter is a classic!
Of course, I also have a growing pile of books on my bedside table waiting patiently to be read.
excuse the terrible photo quality, my new computer is not equipped for decent photo editing just yet :(
I've decided that it's time for me to read the classics (well, atleast some them). I picked up this amazing 6 book pack for half price ($25) at Dymocks this week to get me started. It'll be nice to finally understand what people are talking about when they mention books such as "Little Women" and "Wuthering Heights".
What's YOUR favourite book in the whole wide world? Is there a series that I just need to get into? Think there's a classic that I won't be able to put down?
I can NEVER have too many books, SHARE your suggestions in the comments!
I'd also love to know what YOU have been reading and what you love when it comes to books... feel free to share a blog post you've written on any of these topics and I'll be sure to have a look (I love reading blogs too, obviously)!

I personally am a huge F. Scott Fitzgerald fan. I am in the process of collecting everything of his. Excited for the summer to come so I have more of a chance to read what I already do have!
