An Aussie with... Wanderlust.

Wanderlust: A strong desire to wander and explore the world.

Grand  Canyon: 2013.

It's slowly creeping back into my mind. That desire to be in a different place, meeting new people, eating alllll the food, exploring the streets, taking a million photos, living out of a suitcase... travelling.

After spending 4 months in the US in 2013 I felt like I needed a long stint back in Australia. While I loved America, the 6 weeks of travel after Summer Camp saw me starting to really miss my friends and family. I was ready to settle into a grown up job (aka my career) and I began to seriously consider the purchase of a puppy. I just wanted to be... settled.

Fast forward to the end of 2014 and I'm starting to crave the excitement of travel again.
I'm blaming my housemate getting a job as a travel agent and leaving brochures all over the house mixed with watching TV shows set in cool cities I'm yet explore.

I guess the question now is where to?

Nashville, USA.
The show of the same name has me hooked! I long to spend my nights watching the who's who of Country Music perform at the Grand Ole' Opry.

Galapagos Islands, Ecuador.
Oh, if money were no object! I would love to swim with the giant turtles and check out all the ancient  almost dinosaur like wildlife.

Kauai, USA.
I've longed to visit this stunning island of Hawaii ever since I first laid eyes on a photo of it.

Uluru, Australia.
Right in my own backyard and I've never seen it? What kind of Aussie am I? Get me there pronto!

Where do YOU want to visit next?
Inspire Me!

oh boy do I understand this! I think it's a natural thought. Traveling is so, so wonderful. Love that pic of you at the Grand Canyon too! (Isn't it amazing??)

I love your list of places to see... um, I have never heard of Uluru but now I want to go. That looks so, so pretty!~ Imagine the photos there! I'd definitely start with that one.

And Hawaii is as amazing as it seems! the air there is perfection.

Also, that would be rough with a travel agent roomy!! Tell her to hook you up with a deal or else you'll eat all her food. :)

Uluru is great, you should definitely go there. Right near by is another huge group of rock outcrops called kata tjuta and in my opinion they are even more impressive than Uluru!
I really want to head back to Berlin. I didn't get to go to the museums when we were there a few years ago and I'd love to check them out.
