Easter Long Weekend.

Ok, let's recap shall we.

Friday... Was a day to relax and chill out with my family. I sat on the veranda in the sun and started reading Zoe Foster's new book "The Wrong Girl", played with Simba dog, chatted with my mum and dad and just took it easy.

Saturday... Helped mum out with the weekly grocery shop and planned meals for the week (trying two new recipes this week, oven tacos and asparagus pesto pasta). Basked in the sunshine on the veranda again. Honestly, the veranda in my parents house overlooking the ocean could very well be my favourite little patch of the world. That night involved a couple glasses of wine, a BBQ and a screening of "The Family", which I first saw while I was in America and knew my parents would totally enjoy.
I also made up some Sugar Free Chocolate for tomorrow as we weren't doing Easter Eggs this year.



Sunday... Woke up early and cooked up some French Toast Rolls. Let me STRONGLY advise you to try THIS recipe, it's essentially NUTELLA inside rolled french toast = YUM! Then Mum and I headed off to a local caravan park for their Easter Garage Sell Markets. 


We set up our stall, selling knick knacks and books and I did some balloon modelling and face-painting. It was a gorgeous sunny day and we had a lovely time selling bits and pieces here and there and soaking up the sun. 


Monday... Well, that's today. Another day of relaxing and chilling with the family is planned. We have other relatives coming over for lunch too, which should be a lovely ending to a super relaxed long weekend.

Just put your sugar free goodies in the freezer. I licked the bowl and it was goooood! Can't wait to taste one in an hour. I didn't use the berries, though as my version of living sugar free is also mostly fruit free. If I eat fruit, I eat it plain to really enjoy its goodness. I'll let you know how it goes!

Yay! It should still taste good without the berries, especially since you are already sugar free :) I don't eat much fruit either but I love the little sections of sweetness the berries add. Let me know what you think once they are ready!

ooo, that recipe is awesome. I really want to try it! Fa rilllll. Mainly because I love sea salt mixed with chocolate :) Your stand is so cute!!! What a fun way to spend your weekend, I love going to things like that.
