That awkward moment when you think you are totally prepared and ready to go and you realise that you missed quite an important step in the process. That was me last week as I realised I hadn’t correctly completed my casual teaching application and that it would take at least another week or two to become approved for the work.
So, I've moved homes, I've unpacked, I've made friends with my housemates and their cats, I've shopped, I've slept, I've eaten and I've been at times absolutely totally 100% bored out of my brain! Not working is only fun for so long. Soon it becomes monotonous days of nothing to do and nowhere to be and worst of all no money to spend to stay entertained.
Thankfully, I have secured at least one day’s work next week and with my new casual approval coming through next week, more work shouldn't be too far off. Until then, however, I have found one way to keep myself occupied. Enter, GAME OF THRONES!
Yes, I’m totally late to the game on this one. But when I was able to borrow all 3 seasons of the series from my housemate I decided I may as well see what all the fuss was about. I've now watched the whole thing and am eagerly awaiting the arrival of Season 4. That said, I feel that not too much happens from episode to episode so I’m glad to have had access to so many at once, I would be frustrated to wait week to week for them.
Do YOU watch Game of Thrones? Who is your favourite character (if you can remember their names? Haha)?
