Have you ever grabbed your laptop, headed into town and blogged from a public location?
Well, that’s exactly what I’m doing right this very second.
In my mind I’m pretending that I am some big shot author/journalist who has left the office to seek inspiration amongst the people. Realistically, there’s still no internet hooked up in my house and I’m sitting in McDonalds hooked up to their free Wi-Fi. Just a tad less glamorous right!?
Lucky for you, this means I have the opportunity to schedule a few posts and get the content happening again. Unlucky for me, it means putting up with screeching toddlers and too cool for school teenagers while I try to come up with decent posts and eat fries.
I don’t think blogging in public works for me. I’m someone who prefers the comfort and privacy of home, preferably with my music turned up nice and loud so I can break out into impromptu solo dance parties.
So, I'm intrigued…
Have YOU ever blogged in public?
If so, how do you set yourself up to feel comfortable and inspired?
If not, would you ever consider it?
