day 23 - 15 facts about you.

i can see the finish line for the challenge in sight - yipee! it hasnt been as enjoyable as i may have hoped it would be... ill be glad when i can resume normal blogging!

1. im turning 21 this year... and im veryyyyyy excited about it because im going to have a part-ay!

2. i HATE tomatoes. possibly more then anything else in the world. feed it to me and die!

3. my favourite numbers are 3 and 13... when given an option to pick a number i will always choose the option with a 3 in it whether that be 31 or 63, the best numbers include a 3!

4. i love pink. yes its totally cliche to be a girl and like pink - but i do anyway.

5. i play the piano. had lessons from the age of 5 till i was 16. still play whenever i come home and am currently learning to play 'when i look at you' by miley cyrus from the movie 'the last song'.

6. my first job was as a waitress/cleaner at a small takeaway, i lasted a year before getting a job at womens clothing store rockmans, where i lasted another year before working at target, which also only lasted a year before i became a nanny for a year and then i worked in a toy store for 6 months. my current jobs are part time nannying which i have done for about 6 months, after school care worker which i have also done for about 6 months and kids party assistant (face paints, balloon modelling) which i have done for about 18 months, making it my longest lasting job :)

7. im not religious.

8. i was cast in a television commercial in 2008... it was all very exciting, with makeup on set and catering and 2 hours work for a 3 second snippet.

9. i can recite pretty much every word of the movies bring it on, she's the man, perfect man, centre stage, the lizzie mcguire movie and she's all that.

10. im sarcastic.... alot. i dont think it comes across on my blog but basically every second comment out of my mouth is sarcastic. ask me a question and ill usually reply 'no' even if i mean 'yes'. is it annoying for other people? yep. will i stop? nope.

11. my favourite word is 'love'. another cliche - i know!

12. i contemplated becoming a police officer - and still do. maybe when i get bored of teaching thats what i'll become.

14. im starting competitive cheerleading this year - could not be more excited about it!

15. i like to be organised and have plans and timetables and programs and whatever, but have trouble sticking to them and am quite a messy person, so my organising time is usually just a waste of time!

thankfully i cant exactly pinpoint anyone who has hurt me recently...

which is quite a nice feeling actually...

so once again im tweaking a challenge and instead going for dot points of things ive wanted to say to different people who have hurt me throughout the years...

- believe it or not there are other people in the world, the world does not revolve around you, try spending two seconds thinking about someone other then yourself for once.

 

- you are a douche.

- you can't blame me for not trying, you had to put in effort too.

- i thought you were different, clearly i was wrong. however, i hope its just a phase, cause you were better before.

- remove head from sphincter then drive.

my old wallet was falling to pieces and all my coins kept spilling into the bottom of my bag or onto the floor as i walked...

day 13 - favourite musician and why?

ask me 5 years ago i wouldve said hilary duff no doubts about it....

i was a huge fan of her acting and then when she released an album - ohmeohmy - loved it!

loved hil's brunette look.

 then there is all time favourite britney spears...

no matter what mistakes she's made, she will always be the queen of pop in my mind...

she was so sweet.

i also love love love john mellencamps music...

yes he's old and so is his music but i grew up listening to his stuff and cant help but love it...

his lyrics are great, so much fun to sing along to...

and then when he came to Australia in 2008 i just could not miss it, so i took my dad along with me and it was an amazing concert - so much energy for a man getting on in years (and the support was sheryl crowe- bonus!).

 

can you believe he is dating meg ryan? wtf???

and so i finally found an item on ebay that i have been searching for in stores for ages...

ive been really picky about what kind i want thus why its taken soooo long to find one but finally ive purchased what i hope will be the perfect doona cover for my room...

im not exactly one of those hopeless romantic girls who has been planning her wedding since she was five and already has the perfect venue, dress and cake picked out...

however, throughout my twenty years on earth i have been to enough weddings to have realised a few details i do and don't want at my own...

i don't want to get married in a church...

i do love beach weddings...

i do want a flower girl and/or a page boy...

i do want one maid of honour (or head bridesmaid) and two bridesmaids...

i don't want a 'fall' (autumn) wedding...

i do want fairylights at the reception...

i do want everyone to dance at the reception...

i do want to throw the bouquet...

i don't want the exact, traditional vows...

well i may aswell be terrible straight up...
i havent taken a photo of myself and the days only half through and all ive done is help mum and dad a little with packing, so i dont have much to say...
why not tweak the challenge a little and blog breifly about the past week instead...

oh christmas how i love you...
we did the usual opening of pressies at home before heading down to the beach house (the teacher my mum works with had gone away for 10 days so we got to stay in her place right on the beach, about 5-10 min drive from our house)...

it was great to catch up with them all and spend our days lazing around at the beach.
