car rally.

Friday 24th July...
what a random day...
finally got hold of some of my groups 'car rally' photos.

car rally is an annual event held at my university...
it requires forming groups of 4-5 and travelling all over the city, collecting random things, doing random acts and taking random photos...
with extra points awarded for nakedness.

my group consisted of me (the driver) and 3 other res girls, E, A and El...
we had sooooo much fun.

one of the photos required us to stand in the middle of a fountain in the city with an umbrella...
not realising quite how deep this fountain was i started to step in...
lost my footing...
and ended up taking a clothed swim in the most disgusting, freezing fountain water!


we also glad wrapped E to a pole on the busiest street...


we were meant to ride on the merry-go-round but the very first group to do it, went on naked and offended alot of parents, so we werent allowed.

we did get to spoon on a display bed :)


and E, A and El went swimming in the lake...
it may look ok but it is NOT...
there are huge sewer rats the infest these waters...
and eels...
and probably a boogie monster or two...


we did alot more too...
but those photos arent fit for public viewing lol...
and include...
getting naked outside a brothel (enough said).

back to school bar crawl.

the back to school bar crawl was held on thursday night as part of semester two oweek at uni...
the theme required the old school skirt to be pulled out...
and the knee length white socks to be pulled up...


for the crawl we were broken up into three groups which all went around to the different bars seperately...
until we all met up at the final destination... fun.

just a quick update.

had a back to school bar crawl last nite for uni...
required dragging out the old school skirt for the nite...

today is the car rally :) ...
car rally is a scavenger hunt all over the city taking random photos and collecting odd objects...
i am the driver for my group today...
should be lots of fun...
im sure ill also be posting some photos from this soon too!!!

Back to class.

started back at classes yesterday...
its nice to not be working everyday...
but its so hard to wake up in the morning and go to lectures...

yesterday i had PE at 930...
a class in which we are now studying dance...
and have to perform a dance in that is worth 40% of our grade...
not looking forward to that...

i also had my first learning with technology lecture...
which seems kinda interesting and requires blogging as part of the assessment process...

today i have a maths lecture (boring!), promoting positive learning environments lecture and two tutorials...
so ill be at uni from 930 - 1030 and then from 1230 - 530...
will be an effort to stay awake!

tommorow i have pe again and will either be teaching peewee soccer or playing new sporting games (hopefully the latter!)

Chasing Oprah

ajay rochester has gone mad...
what else can explain her new project "chasing oprah.com"...
a website devoted to ajays mission to be a guest on the oprah winfrey show...
the whole concept is ridiculous...
and the blog entries and video diary entries are absurd...
one such video shows ajay on a rollercoaster ride screaming oprah's name...
while another shows ajay creating a shrine for oprah on the hollywood walk of fame...
i hope oprah doesnt let her on the show...
its all just one big pathetic attempt at gaining alot of attention...
and i wont be wasting any more of my time or energy watching or even bitching about it again!

E's Birthday.

i <3 birthdays...
otherwise boring days become so much more fun when it is someones birthday!
it was my roommate E's 20th birthday on tuesday, so we...
had the most delicious breakfast of french toast, maple syrup, bacon and strawberrys, yum yum...
went iceskating...
there were 4 of us on the ice and i was the only one not to fall over :) lol...

played bball down at the rivercourt...
had my little sister and her friend come and stay at our place...
had our first pre-drinking sesh on our floor...

headed out to karaoke...
where we sang up a storm...
